Czech president Vaclav Klaus signed the EU's Lisbon treaty today after his country's constitutional court ruled it was in line with the Czech constitution.
It means the treaty looks set to come into effect throughout the EU at the start of December.
The Czech Republic was the only country that had not yet ratified the treaty.
Every single member state must agree before the treaty can come into force.
