Al-Qaida’s top commander in Afghanistan is warning of more attacks against the West in a new video profiling the suicide bomber behind the June attack on the Danish embassy in Pakistan.
The commander, Mustafa Abu al-Yazeed, tells “once more the Crusader states which insult, mock and defame our Prophet ... that we will exact revenge at the appropriate time and place.”
The Egyptian al Yazeed – also known as Abu Saeed al Masri – says the Danish embassy attack was “but the beginning” and calls on Muslim youth in the West to “retaliate” against “enemies of Islam.”
The 55-minute video by al-Qaida’s as-Sahab media arm features the Saudi bomber, Abu Ghareeb al Makki, recounting his plan.
Six people were killed in the blast, including a Danish citizen.
