Nothing to commend awful 'Disaster Movie'
04/09/2008 - 19:08:25

If ever a filmDirectors: Jason Friedberg/Aaron Seltzer

Cast: Carmen Electra, Matt Lanter, Roland Kickinger

If ever a film's title indicated the value of the product it is this one: it's not only a film that attempts - and utterly fails - to spoof disaster movies, but a disaster of a film.

There is absolutely nothing to commend about this load of garbage: it isn't remotely funny, has not the faintest originality and the writers, who brought us the turkeys 'Date Movie' and 'Epic Movie', clearly don't know what a disaster movie is.

They lump together films like 'Hulk' and 'Batman', which aren't disaster movies, and insult our intelligence with a screenplay your aged moggie could do better.

The plot – stop laughing – brings together a bunch of idiots who find things falling apart around them, much like everybody connected with the making of this trash.

It hardly deserves further comment … well, except to say don't pay money to see it!

Star Rating: 0/5
