Aer Lingus reports increase in passenger numbers 05/09/2008 - 07:47:38 Aer Lingus passenger numbers have increased by nearly 9% compared to this time last year. The airline has said the numbers taking short-haul flights were up by more than 10.5% last month, compared to August 2007. However, passenger numbers on long haul flights are down 2.3% for the same period.
